When my Deaf friend Charlotte with riding with me in my new Ford Mustang one day in 1980, she was telling me that her hard of hearing son, Keith liked to listen to a loud music on a car radio when she was driving. One day she was driving alone with an open window without realizing the high volume radio was on and noticed the people in other cars were trying to talk to her but she ignored them. She was wondering why they were doing that. The man finally got her attention with his hands on his ears and his head shaking at the same time, and Charlotte put her hand on the dashboard to feel a strong vibration. She was blushed.
